It is becoming increasingly clear that no job is gonna work out where I exchange time for money. I need control over my time and that is such a big deal as the be even a deal-breaker for staying here at 200 S Yale if that doesn’t happen. So lets make it happen. Time to stop only thinking about it and take action. This is critical but ever so threatening especially after the failed fiasco of the pipe-relining business, but lets face it that was intensely difficult because of who you were working with and the fact that you could not afford any injury to that relationship. There are million dollar paychecks to be had if things work out well in several clients , but that is passive and plus they may never come to produce fruit at all. They are passive in the sense that I can do nothing to make them produce at a certain time, like when I have bills to pay and need money. As with all clients I generally make the investments in them, they pay very little in actual cash.

So this current model worked super well in the past and it served all its purposes. Now the pandemic has come and life has changed and the where has changed and the how has to change as well. The future will of necessity be far more transactional than the past has been, unless a huge benefactor appears out of the blue and soon. So lets get this party started and begin transacting and contracting and consulting.
