What you're really meant to do

Robert Kaplan wrote a book by that title, as well as referred to it a number of times in various blogs. It is basically a book about passion. Passion is about excitement according to Kaplan. Sometimes I think that such books could be entitled "What you really WANT to do." But that is not really bad, honestly.

The thing about his blog that caught my eye was this amazing phrase, "Have you ever noticed that highly effective people almost always say they love what they do?" This is a relatively new experience for me, only in the last few years has this been largely true in my life, and I finally can say, after 39 years of working, I love what I do - I have one of the best jobs in the whole world.

However I am committed to helping others, in such a manner, that no one ever have to work almost 40 years in the public sector, in order to get to what they love to do! There has to be better and more effective and efficient ways to work through the processes that will bring us to the place where we know what we love and we find ways to accomplish it every day.
